I’ve always said that I want “a job that makes the world a better place.”
Whether realizing it or not, I’ve been a fundraiser all my life…
Growing up in competitive dance, I’ve fundraised from a very young age by participating in fundraising shows, spaghetti dinners, gift wrapping campaigns, chocolate selling, and more.
Today, I’ve found my passion by focusing on fundraising communications. I’m a total self-proclaimed nerd when it comes to all things digital – I’m always learning the new social media and Internet trends.
I love to combine my digital knowledge with fundraising and storytelling techniques to educate people on different causes and campaigns that help make the world a better place.
I hold a BA in History from Mount Allison University, a BA in Digital Communications from the University of Ottawa, and a Master’s of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (MPNL) from Carleton University.
On the weekends, you can find me exploring Ottawa and its surrounding areas – I love listening to true crime podcasts while going for long drives and day trips to explore new hiking trails, beaches, and local vineyards.
