Fundraising was not my first calling but I was probably always destined for it. My passion for fundraising originates from my desire to leave the world a better place and my motivation lies within unlocking the inherent ability in others to do the same.

I studied marketing and advertising, and launched my career in technology serving Fortune 500 companies. I naturally gravitated towards consulting for the love of a challenge and meeting new people. My interest in fundraising developed through a desire to be altruistic professionally and align with my personal values. Fundraising married my skills and motivation.

I have worked in small local shops, large national organisations and several in between. My experience includes annual giving, major gifts, corporate social responsibility, program strategy and team development.

There is nothing that motivates me more than seeing my hard work transform into tangible outcomes for charitable causes.  I am passionate about helping charities that help others, succeed.

I’m always up for trading my heels for hiking shoes and finding my Zen somewhere in the back country hiking and paddling. There is a perfection in nature that fills the soul and recharges my battery allowing mind and breath to reacquaint.

When I’m not hiking the backwoods with one of my two boys and a dog, I’m volunteering. Whether it be providing mentorship to the next generation, serving on a local Board or caring for others at Hospice, it brings me joy to serve others.
